Sr. Programmer Analyst (Multiple Positions)

CV Consulting Inc. in Wexford, PA is hiring Sr. Programmer Analysts to help develop prototypes and perform complex application coding and programming. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering principles and concepts to design SOA based applications.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

• Write complex requirements, technical specifications, and use cases.
• Develop application design at an advanced level, according to business requirements.
• Use various technologies such as SOAP, AXIS, WSDL, XML, XSLT, XML Schema, Spring, and Hibernate, and Java & J2EE (including JSP, EJB, JDBC, STRUTS, SQL, XML, HTML and associated technologies), including applying knowledge of Struts 2, Windows, Oracle, DB2, and SQL database environment to perform daily tasks.
• Create and deliver high-level and complex data-driven reports.
• Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas that require modification and improvement.
• Document all phases of the analysis, design, programming, implementation, and maintenance of technical projects.
• Create user documentation for on-line systems, reports, procedures, and training materials.

In lieu of the stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering or a related IT field of study that provided the required knowledge and abilities, and five (5) years progressively responsible, post-degree, and related experience that provided the required skills and abilities.

In addition, this position requires demonstrable knowledge, experience and proficiency with the following:

Developer (Multiple Positions)

CV Consulting Inc. in Wexford, PA is hiring Developer to help develop prototypes and perform complex application coding and programming. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering principles and concepts to design SOA based applications.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

• Collaborating with business users, project managers and other developers to understand new and existing business requirements and provide consultative technical direction and develop systems enhancements that are in line with business goals.
• Analyzing and reviewing business requirement documents and providing software development estimates and task breakdowns.
• Solving complex programming issues and helping clients achieve their programming goals.
• Estimating the time required to complete modifications to projects and overseeing such modifications.
• Leading and ensuring the overall software development life cycle (SDLC) of various applications, including their documentation, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Reviewing the translation of application storyboards and ensuring the successful transformation of cases into functional applications.
• Leading kick off meetings, scrum meetings, and development meetings for technical discussions and performance reviews.
• Establishing the framework for site core content management, leading the development of SOAs, and reviewing technical design documents.
• Leading the design, development, and maintenance of efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code.
• Coordinating and maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Overseeing SQL database code changes, updates and testing.
• Serving as a technical subject matter expert (SME) on supported systems and applications with a proficient understanding of business functionalities and requirements.
